I Dream of Hawaii

The evening breeze in Maui
Looking at the date of my last post I realize it's been awhile...two months in fact. What can I say. Life and fatigue has gotten in the way of blogging. Actually, quite a bit has happened since July. In between homeschool, work and assorted doctor's visits we've been able to squeeze in a mini vacation to Camp Nelson (my next post), some time at the community pool and a trip up the coast to attend a friend's wedding up in the wine country of Paso Robles. But the highlight of our summer must be the long planned vacation we've just returned from....to Maui.
This was the first time for Arik and Julia across the blue Pacific and onto Hawaii's gracefull shores. They loved it, and of course so did we. Warm sea, winding pools, waterfalls, gardens lush and green, inspired mountains, plentiful and tantilizing food, and 24/7 fun that included swiming, diving, exploring, para-sailing, golfing, shopping, sleeping, attending a Luau, reading.... These pictures can only begin to capture our many experiences on the beautful island of Maui.

These Pink Flamingos at the Westin greeted us every morning

The view from our room at the Westin looking across the Pacific toward the Island of Lanai. Not too shappy

Speaks for itself

Behold the beauty of the Lord

Time to go, but God willing we'il surely return. Next year???
